In collaboration with the Glorious Islamic Center on Friday, July 11, FAJIM conducted health screenings for 68 individuals, targeting conditions such as hepatitis B and C, hypertension, diabetes, and obesity.
Dr. Ganiyat Oyeleke, a consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist, delivered an insightful health talk, addressing common medical conditions and emphasizing the importance of medication adherence following diagnosis.
Participants also had the opportunity to assess their liver health using the Mega WeCare application. Individuals who screened positive for any of the conditions were promptly referred to a nearby general hospital for further evaluation and specialized care.
